On 7 June 2011, the additional acceptance period of the Public Exchange Offer made by Swiss Re Ltd for shares in Swiss Reinsurance Company Ltd expired. On 7 June 2011, at the end of the additional acceptance period of the Public Exchange Offer made by Swiss Re Ltd for shares in Swiss Reinsurance Company Ltd, Swiss Re Ltd held 362,973,739 shares in Swiss Reinsurance Company Ltd, corresponding to 97.9% of the voting rights. As of 8 June 2011, Swiss Re Ltd holds 363,434,309 shares in Swiss Reinsurance Company Ltd, corresponding to 98.03% of the voting rights. Swiss Re Ltd will file a request with the competent court to invalidate the remaining shares in Swiss Reinsurance Company Ltd.
