ALICO is the direct owner of ALICO Life International Limited, which is the direct owner of Alphabetos International Funds SICAV, which is the direct owner of certain shares of APEN AG, as detailed in this filing. Therefore, as a result of the acquisition, MetLife, Inc. became the new indirect owner of these shares of APEN AG.
