Castle Alternative Invest AG (the Company ) announced that on September 12, 2012, it purchased 10,000 Ordinary Shares with a par value of CHF 5 each ( shares ) at an average price per share of CHF 12.01. These shares were purchased on the Company s second trading line on the SIX Swiss Exchange (ticker: CASNE). Under the current buyback programme, the Company has to date purchased 366,500 shares on its second trading line. It is intended that these shares be cancelled in due course. The total number of shares currently in issue is 16,352,817 of which 366,500 (2.24 per cent) are referred to above and 1,519,487 (9.29 per cent) are shares held in treasury. A further 573,170 shares (3.51 per cent) were purchased for cancellation in the previous second line buyback programme which ended on June 5, 2012 and it is intended that these shares also be cancelled in due course. As a result, the company now holds 15.04 per cent of its own shares in issue.
