Sources and method

Where the data comes from

Two sets of disclosures published by SIX Exchange Regulation: management transactions and significant shareholder notifications.

Parties named in shareholding notifications are matched, where possible, against the Swiss commercial register (Zefix). Every match is exact: the registered name, or one of its former names, equals the declared name.

Depth of the series

Significant shareholdings: since 26.01.1998. Management transactions: only since September 2023, as the source keeps a rolling three years. Both series appear in the same feed, but they do not cover the same period — no transaction before 2023 does not mean nothing happened.

What we do not display

  • No manager names: SIX publishes the function (executive member, non-executive, SPAC sponsor), never the person's identity.
  • No disclosure deleted at the source (category D).
  • No voting-rights rate above 100%: that is a declarant typing error.
  • No information from elsewhere is added to an individual's name. Names appear exactly as declared.

Amounts and dates

Amounts are as declared, in Swiss francs, with no currency conversion (CHF 1'234'567.89). Dates use the Swiss format (dd.mm.yyyy).
